Mary Ann has been an integral part of the Midland Animal Clinic family since 1998. As hospital supervisor, she is responsible for overseeing the staff and flow of the hospital, maintaining equipment, inventory control, and helping out with the patients. When not at work, Mary Ann enjoys reading, going to the movies, and taking her dog, Emmy, to dog beach.
Registered Veterinary Technicians
Elishia is a Registered Veterinary Technician and has been part of the Midland Animal Clinic family since 2005. She especially enjoys assisting the doctors in surgery and during medical emergencies, and hopes that the work she does makes a difference in the animal’s lives. She is a former competitive figure skater and has an identical twin sister that is also in the veterinary profession.
Madeleine, R.V.T. / C.V.T.
Madeleine has a degree in Veterinary Technology from Kaplan College and joined the Midland Animal Clinic Family in 2014 after moving here from Arizona. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and grandson in addition to playing with her two dogs, Casey & Gil. Her hobbies include mountain biking, playing the piano, and gardening.
Veterinary Support Staff
Alesha joined our team in 2010 and feels that the Midland Animal Clinic staff is like one big family. She has a very caring nature and loves being able to be there for our patients during their time of need. Outside of the clinic, Alesha enjoys working with special needs people, snowboarding, mountain biking, singing, and playing with her Staffordshire Terrier, Page.
Ashley is from Chicago, IL. and has been fascinated with science and how the body works since she was a child. She has been trained as both a nursing and veterinary assistant, but ultimately decided that caring for animals was her true calling and joined the Midland Animal Clinic Family in 2010.
Jessica has a degree in Wildlife Biology from U.C. Davis and has been part of our team since 2006. She is only here part-time because she also has a job at The San Diego Zoo, where she is a zoo keeper and gets to work with Nola, 1 of only 5 Northern White Rhinos in the world.
Jill is originally from Illinois and has been a part of the Midland Animal Clinic family since 2000. She is a very caring and compassionate person that loves taking care of animals in need. In her free time, Jill enjoys horseback riding, caring for her pets, gardening, and spending time with her new granddaughter.
Justin is a former United States Marine who joined our team in 2014. He is currently a pre-vet student and enjoys being able to learn about veterinary medicine from the doctors here at Midland Animal Clinic. When not at work or in school, Justin enjoys playing with his golden retrievers, Brody & Buck, at dog beach.
Kelli is a native San Diegan and has been part of the Midland Animal Clinic family since 2007. She is very caring, nurturing, and enjoys being able to actively participate in the treatment of sick animals. When not working, Kelli likes to hike, listen to music, follow the Chargers, and care for the three pets that she has rescued and welcomed into her home.
Kerrilee is one of those people that is always happy and loves to make people smile and brighten their day. She has been a part of our team since 2010 and genuinely cares about all of the pets she gets the opportunity to work with each day. In her spare time, Kerrilee enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin, hiking, rescuing animals, and caring for her five dogs, three cats, and hamster that she has at home.
Melissa is originally from Nebraska, but moved to San Diego because of the sunshine and beaches. She joined the Midland Animal Clinic family in 2011 and is currently working on her Master's degree in Biology. Melissa enjoys photography, traveling, baking, and playing with her two cats, Diego & Mitts.
Sean is originally from Rhode Island but moved to San Diego as a child. She has been a part of our team since 2008 and got into the veterinary field because she wanted to help animals. She enjoys how each day is different and that each sick patient gives her the opportunity to learn something new. In her free time, Sean enjoys hiking, camping, and riding quads.
Tessa has only been a part of the Midland Animal Clinic family since 2014, but her passion for animals and her ability to quickly bond with clients makes it feel like she has been here much longer. In her spare time, Tessa enjoys going to Dog Beach with her two dogs—Kenai & Finn, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
